Community Service Requirements
Beginning in the fall of 2014, all current high school students will be required to complete hours of service to satisfy their Civic and Community Responsibility requirement.
We know that our students are involved in the communities in which they live, and this is a way to recognize our students' accomplishments.
If you are aware of or can provide information for additional opportunities, please contact our office so that we can add them to our list:
- Class of 2017- 30 community service hours
- Class of 2018 and beyond- 40 community service hours

Friends in Service to Humanity (FISH) of Northwestern, CT
Help meet the most basic of human needs- food, shelter, and hope- by volunteering at various programs including the FISH Emergency Shelter, FISH Food Pantry, and Holiday Programs.

Duties can include handing out flyers at such events as Mountain Bike races, RockCats games, painting , raking and grounds-keeping, public speaking in the form of announcing, registration and trophy distribution; even grilling/ food service- a wide variety of things to do.
